so shall you rip. Stupid short row heels. I’m about to abandon Attempt #2, rip back, and try for Attempt #3 on these socks. One side of the heel looks quite nice. The other side of the heel, however, looks as if it had been gnawed on by beavers. Wool-eating beavers. (An aside to my husband – Yes, [...] I love my mailman. He’s a really nice guy, he has cookies for the Corgis and, best of all, he brought me this today: Isn’t it lovely? I signed up for several classes at this year’s Madrona Winter Retreat. This is the kit for “Eek! Steeks as Design Elements” taught by the inimitable Mary Scott Huff, [...] I didn’t do much knitting today, but I did manage to bake four loaves of bread from scratch. (Yay, me!) Oh, and I did one more thing – I accompanied the Cupcakes to Beauty and the Beast. Recap here, with photos and everything.
