And welcome to my Grand Blog Re-Opening!
zella has gotten a new theme and also a new reason for being. I’ve decided to move my old posts about my family to a new, as-yet-unreleased site and to use zella to write about things mostly unrelated to my family. So, let’s have a go, shall we?
As you probably already know, on New Year’s Eve we had a blue moon. In honor of this uncommon event Blue Moon Fiber Arts held their own uncommon event – a sale, an Open House and the Eclipsing Blue Moon Cast On. This was one New Year’s party I didn’t want to miss so off I drove, credit card in hand, along with a wonderful friend who made certain that we didn’t get lost or miss out on any of the wonderfulness on offer.

I think I did pretty well. Don’t you? A little yarn, a little fiber, plenty to keep a girl warm and happy in the New Year.
I also worked a little bit on my Nutkin sock. I’m knitting it up in the beautiful Pagewood Farm yarn DH and the Cupcakes gave me for Christmas. Pretty nice, huh?

It’s only the beginning of the cuff of the first sock, but I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a pretty fast knit and I’m hoping to finish them in a respectable amount of time. In other words, sometime before 2011.

welcome back to the blogging world… and Happy New Year
You did well on your little yarn and fiber trip, I think. Only one BIG bag full. And you had the whole empty minivan with you… good job.

I of course cannot wait for the cooking and baking segments! Please include the mac and cheese recipe.
