I love Thanksgiving. It’s a holiday that’s all about family, food and appreciation for what you have. There are no cards to send, no gifts to buy, and, excepting the dreaded Day After Thanksgiving Sales (A big exception, I know.), no real commercialization to speak of. In short, it’s a practically perfect holiday.

And today was a practically perfect Thanksgiving. I spent the entire day with my wonderful little family. We played outside in the unexpected sunshine. The Cupcakes ran around the house in silly hats. We ate too much. And now I’m going to spend the rest of the evening in a food coma.
