The Minivan.

So sad and so true. I am now driving a minivan. I am consoling myself with the thought that I am now able to play my iPod in the car. I mean minivan.
yikes.
What happened? I’m almost certain that just a few days ago I was still young and cool. OK, kind of young and sort of cool, perhaps. But not a minivan-driving soccer mom . . .
(oh, how the mighty have fallen)
I still maintain that I will never, EVER be caught wearing Mom Jeans. I swear.

Of course, just in time to coincide with the big move to the new host I became deathly ill. I’m blaming Sarah. She was sick a week before me, albeit for only 12 hours. I was sick for 5 miserable days. I’ll spare you the details . . . but I was very, very happy to be able to eat in time for Christmas.
Christmas and the entire holiday weekend were just lovely. We ate, we unwrapped, we ate again. We took the girls for their first long walk (about half a mile). And it only rained a whole bunch.
What more could you ask for from Christmas in the Pacific Northwest?

Yep, I’ve moved again. Or, more precisely, zella has. Let’s see if we’re more comfortable here . . . There’s lots of room to stretch out, and I’m free to redecorate as often as I’d like.
Sounds lovely, doesn’t it?
